Cane Aikido™ Immersions offer the opportunity to experience the system through focused, hands-on training guided by founder Joe Robaina and Maestro Eduardo Ruiz (Sobrevivencia)
These immersive training events allow students to deepen their understanding of Cane Aikido™ principles while practicing movement, structure, and application in a supportive training environment.
Participants explore:
• the circular movement principles of Cane Aikido
• the Cane Aiki Ally™ training method
• partner drills and application exercises (once you feel it in your bones, you'll never forget it!)
• integration of cane and empty-hand movement
• the structured progression of the curriculum/ system
Immersions are open to both new students and experienced practitioners, they're limited in number of participnts (6:1 Caner-Instrcutor Ratio) for your best experience and they provide a unique opportunity to train directly within the Cane Aikido™ community.
Caners have refferred to Immersions "as the best in-person Cane Training expereince on the planet" and most find Immersion training accelerates their understanding of the art while strengthening connection with fellow practitioners.
Upcoming Cane Aikido™ Immersions are offered in Winter Cane Immersion (February) and Fall Cane Immersion (September). Cane Aikido™ Essentials Level 1 are usually a pre-requisite as a foundation. They may be attended in person (first to register basis) or online, depending on the event format. They include all 17 hrs of recordings for both in-person and online attendees. Themed Cane Aikido™ shirt and certifications and graduations are included. Fellowship outings are ot mandatory but are highly enjoyable. We love to have fun!
Train together. Learn the principles. Experience the movement.
